Ingredients & Sourcing
Are your ingredients organic?
The herbs I use are either organic certified, organic locally cultivated or wild harvested; I would consider any herbs I wild harvest to be organic (as I am very mindful about where I gather from) however, I have not tested or certified those. All oils, glycerin, apple cider vinegar, alcohol, ect are certified organic or biodynamic! Honey & sea salts are not technically able to deem "organic" by nature but I support conscious local beekeepers and reputable companies. Please don't hesitate to inquire about any ingredient sourcing questions or concerns you may have. Read on for more information!

As a way to easily identify, I place an asterisk "*" on listed ingredients, this is to indicate that it is certified organic. If the ingredient was two asterisk "**" then this indicates it was wild crafted by my own hands.

I only wildcraft plants that are: in great abundance, are found in pristine locations in nature, picked for an intended use at the peak of it's season and that I can 100% confidently identify. Many times this means the medicines I create are fresh, vibrant & potent.

When wildcrafting or growing at home is not an option, my favorite place to source is through Sonoma County Herb Exchange, where farm fresh + herbs collide! With great privilege, I would say 85% of herbs that I out source are from the Herb Exchange and I get them FRESH!

I have also sourced from Oshala Farms when needed. They are an organic regenerative farm in Southern Oregon that provides fresh plant material and freshly dried herbs too.
Rarely and mainly for spices like Cardamom or Long Pepper, I will source organically from Mountain Rose Herbs.

The Glycerin I source is organic and derived from flax & coconut. NOT palm which makes it a cleaner and more sustainable product. I am very happy with this glycerin! It is not easy to find high quality, organic, non-palm based glycerin and I happily pay more to use this ingredient in my medicinals.
